Unbelievable Workers Compilation 2026 🏗️👷 Working with Talented Engineers EP 10

196. Homeless in Skid Row: America’s Open Wound - It's Worse Than You Think

Homeless in Skid Row: America’s Open Wound – It’s Worse Than You Think exposes the brutal reality of a place where hope has vanished, and the streets have become the last refuge for thousands of forgotten souls. In the heart of Los Angeles lies Skid Row, a community that mirrors the true face of inequality in one of the richest nations on earth. This documentary takes you deep inside the daily struggle for survival — where tents replace homes, sidewalks become shelters, and humanity is tested every single day.

Through raw and unfiltered stories, Homeless in America reveals the pain, resilience, and despair of those living in the margins. Behind every face on Skid Row is a story — of lost jobs, mental illness, broken systems, and a society that looks away. Yet, even in the darkest corners, sparks of dignity and kindness still flicker.

This is not just about one neighborhood. Skid Row stands as a symbol of a national failure, where policy meets apathy and compassion fades under bureaucracy. As the cameras roll, the truth unfolds: the crisis is not shrinking — it’s spreading. From Los Angeles to San Francisco, from Seattle to Philadelphia, the echoes of Homeless in America grow louder every year.

Homeless in Skid Row is a wake-up call to a country that prides itself on freedom and prosperity but cannot protect its most vulnerable citizens. It asks the question too many avoid: how can a nation so wealthy leave so many behind? This is more than a documentary — it’s a mirror held up to the soul of a nation. Homeless in America is not just a problem. It’s a wound still bleeding in plain sight.

This 4K Ukrainian drone footage from Bakhmut shows how radically drones have changed modern warfare—and the new imagery from Chasiv Yar is devastating.

We take a close look at Ukrainian fiber-optic FPV drones operating around Bakhmut, the extraordinary precision of their operators, and why cheap drones can destroy equipment worth vastly more. We also examine Ukraine’s growing drone scale, including 54,870 drones reportedly knocked down in July and hundreds of fixed-wing drones now being launched nightly.

Then we go inside updated imagery of Bakhmut and Chasiv Yar to see what years of Russia’s war have done to these cities—and why drones may be one of the biggest reasons Ukraine has been able to keep fighting against a much larger enemy.

Watch closely, because this footage reveals a side of the war that maps and headlines simply cannot show.

I examine Ukraine’s reported first combat use of the FP-7 tactical ballistic missile amid a major overnight drone and missile campaign against targets across Russia. With a reported range of up to 300 kilometers and a payload of up to 200 kilograms, the FP-7 could put Russia’s dense near-border logistics network, ammunition sites, airfields, and glide-bomb infrastructure at greater risk—if Ukraine can sustain serial production and employ it effectively.

I also break down reported strikes on the Samara oil-pumping and petrochemical complex, the Lukoil Volgograd refinery, and facilities in Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar, and elsewhere. On the defensive side, I assess Russia’s 108-drone attack on Ukraine, F-16 cannon intercepts, and Ukraine’s efforts to scale interceptor drones. Finally, I look at September’s battlefield figures: Russia reportedly seized 175 square kilometers but lost 256, while suffering 46,230 reported casualties.

Belarus has now officially crossed the red line, violated the recent agreement with Ukraine, and engaged itself in Russia’s long-range drone campaign, providing relay infrastructure on Belarusian territory to guide Shahed drones in real time. The latest indication came from a jet-powered, camera-guided Shahed strike against the Ukrainian city of Malyn.

Analysis of the drone’s flight path shows it was following and maneuvering closely to the Belarusian-Ukrainian border before turning along a highway toward Korosten and then following a railway line directly to its target. Such precise navigation strongly suggests continuous operator control rather than a simple pre-programmed GPS route. Because the target lay roughly two hundred and sixty kilometers from the Russian border, maintaining direct radio contact from Russia alone would have been technically impossible, as no airborne Russian relay drones were operating in the vicinity.

That leaves ground-based relay stations inside Belarus as the only explanation, as they extend communications range, allowing operators to alter routes in real time to avoid Ukrainian air defenses, evade interceptor drones in modern-style drone dogfights, and adjust onto the target if needed. Without these relay networks, Shahed drones would be limited largely to predetermined waypoints, making them substantially less flexible and easier to intercept.

This development comes after Belarusian President Lukashenko had already received an explicit warning from Kyiv, as President Volodymyr Zelensky demanded that Belarus dismantle any infrastructure supporting Russian drone guidance, warning that Ukraine would destroy the network itself if Belarus failed to act. Ukrainian officials subsequently stated that approximately five hundred military-related targets inside Belarus had already been identified should further assistance to Russian operations continue. As a result, Lukashenko caved to the threat and turned the relays off, only to be forced by Russia to go back on his decision now.

Recent Ukrainian deep-strike campaigns against Russia demonstrate that such threats cannot be dismissed lightly, as Ukraine has repeatedly launched massive drone raids involving up to one thousand long-range drones during a single night, at times simultaneously striking Moscow, Crimea, and other distant regions while overwhelming dense Russian air defenses in all of them.

Belarus possesses nothing comparable to Russia’s multilayered defensive network; with its smaller inventory of S-Three-Hundred systems, limited S-Four-Hundred batteries, Buks, Tors, Pantsirs, and aging fighter aircraft, it would face enormous difficulties responding to Ukraine’s large-scale saturation attacks. The country's proximity to northern Ukraine further compresses reaction times, leaving only minutes to detect, classify, and intercept incoming low- and fast-flying drones before they reach critical infrastructure.

At the same time, provoking Ukrainian retaliation against Belarus may actually serve Russia’s broader interests and be part of a larger Russian strategy. Near-assuredly, Belarus's putting the relays back up has come under pressure from Moscow, despite knowing Ukraine’s threats and the risks to Belarus. Russia hopes that if Ukraine is forced to redirect a portion of its long-range strike campaign toward Belarusian military and relay infrastructure, the pressure on Russian territory could decline. Belarus would effectively become a sacrificial lamb, absorbing Ukrainian retaliation while Russia gained valuable time to replenish interceptor stocks and reorganize its air defenses.

However, this strategy may ultimately fail because Ukraine possesses far more options than drone strikes alone. Communications relays, command nodes, and supporting infrastructure inside Belarus do not necessarily need to be destroyed through large-scale aerial attacks. Cyber operations, electronic warfare, sabotage, or special forces insertions behind enemy lines could neutralize these networks without consuming Ukraine’s long-range strike assets, especially as Ukraine is creating a dedicated Cyber Forces branch within the Armed Forces, with specialized research infrastructure for its units.

Such an approach would allow Ukraine to maintain the overwhelming majority of its drone campaign against Russian oil facilities, logistics hubs, and military infrastructure while simultaneously degrading Belarusian support through covert means. Rather than choosing between Russia and Belarus, Ukraine possesses a wide series of complementary instruments capable of operating in parallel, denying Moscow the breathing space it hopes to create by drawing Belarus further into the conflict.

David Hookstead talks about how Delta Force might capture the secret nuclear facility under Pickaxe Mountain and the nuclear facility at Isfahan. The raid would be the most sophisticated in special operations history. There are also more updates with the war, including Iran using new special missiles.
