کاور و موزیک ویدیوی جدید «وطن» داریوش اقبالی با صدای اتُمیک ملودی، تصویری از درد، مقاومت و امید ملتی را به نمایش می‌گذارد که به اسارت درآمده اما هیچ چیز نمی‌تواند روح آزادی‌خواهی‌اش را متوقف کند.

این اثر شاعرانه، روایتگر پرواز پرنده‌ای است که در خون غوطه‌ور است، شکوفه‌ای که در خون می‌شکفد، و قصیده‌ای که حتی در زندان و ویرانی بازتابی از ایستادگی و فداکاری است. ملتی که با هر دم و بازدم، با خون و جان خود فریاد آزادی سر می‌دهد.

«وطن» یادآور این حقیقت است که هیچ ظلمی همیشگی نیست و امید، هرچند دیر، دوباره سر برمی‌آورد.

ترانه گنجشکک اشی مشی با متن تغییر یافته اعتراضی به سبک راک فیوژن به یاد و احترام تمام جاویدنامان و اسیب دیدگان قهرمان ایران در راه مبارزه با رژیم جنایت کار آخوندی.
این قطعه یک بازخوانی ساده نیست؛
یک بازآفرینی خشن و معاصر است، الهام‌گرفته از ترانه‌ی ماندگار «گنجشکک اشی‌مشی». در نسخه‌ی اصلی، فرهاد با زبانی استعاری و کودکانه، از بی‌پناهی، سرکوب و قربانی‌شدن انسان ساده در برابر قدرت حرف می‌زد؛ گنجشکی کوچک که در جهانی نابرابر، له می‌شود.این نسخه اما آرام نیست.
اینجا استعاره کنار می‌رود و واقعیت، بی‌واسطه توی صورت مخاطب پرت می‌شود.

در این روایت جدید، «گنجشکک» دیگر فقط یک نماد شاعرانه نیست؛
او مردم‌اند،
او جوان زخمی است،
او قربانی بازی قدرت است؛این ترانه درباره‌ی سیستمی‌ست که همیشه یکی باید بسوزد؛
فرقی نمی‌کند کی باشی،
اگر نسخه‌ی اصلی نجیب و استعاری بود،
