Today, there is interesting news from the Liman direction.

Here, Ukraine’s Third Army Corps has used a series of unconventional battlefield tactics near Liman, with the most prominent one transforming an obsolete armored personnel carrier into a massive unmanned kamikaze vehicle to destroy a Russian strongpoint blocking the Ukrainian advance toward Nove.

The vehicle chosen was a BTR Sixty belonging to the Third Separate Assault Brigade. It was old, damaged, and no longer suitable for normal combat, but remained mobile. Instead of abandoning it, Ukrainian engineers installed cameras and a remote-control system, filled the armored vehicle with explosives, and turned it into a giant ground kamikaze drone.

The target was a fortified Russian position interfering with a simultaneous Ukrainian assault into Nove, with Russian troops protected underground, meaning smaller explosive-carrying ground drones or bomber drones might only partially damage the position without completely destroying it, so Ukraine needed something significantly more powerful.

The full-sized BTR provided exactly that, as its large internal volume allowed engineers to load a far greater quantity of explosives than any conventional ground drone could carry, while its armor and off-road mobility increased its chances of reaching the target. A reconnaissance drone followed overhead and helped correct its route as the unmanned vehicle approached the Russian position. The remote control meant no Ukrainian crew had to risk their lives during what was effectively a one-way mission. Once the BTR reached the strongpoint, it detonated, producing an explosion comparable in scale to the effect of a Kab glide bomb and destroyed the Russian stronghold, allowing the subsequent Ukrainian ground assault on Nove to proceed without hinder.

The Ukrainian NC Thirteen drone unit has also experimented within Operation Vivaldi by equipping small kamikaze ground robots with two disposable Bullspike grenade launchers. They were transported behind Russian lines by another unmanned platform before being released near enemy positions. They then approached the Russian fortifications in a building and fired their grenade launchers directly into them before finally moving closer and detonating themselves to finish off everyone inside.

The psychological effect of such operations is substantial, as Russian soldiers up to ten kilometers behind the frontline would normally never expect to suddenly receive short-range direct fire. Grenades arriving from nearby therefore create the impression that Ukrainian infantry has penetrated deep into the rear, causing additional panic and chaos among the Russian troops.

The Russian commanders, after receiving reports of apparent Ukrainian assault groups, can redirect reinforcements or react to a penetration that does not actually exist, while the Ukrainian robots can suppress and destroy the Russian positions and set up an ambush for the coming additional Russian troops.

At the same time, the Ukrainians also started using hand-held reconnaissance drones to provide surveillance, guidance, and tactical flexibility, while infantry moved forward after the Russian defenses were already disrupted. That creativity has become particularly important in a battlefield dominated by drones, where conventional frontal assaults can produce enormous casualties.

Overall, Operation Vivaldi has demonstrated the functional value of the Ukrainian drone experiments, as the Third Army Corps is increasingly pushing machines into the most dangerous part of the assault first, preserving soldiers for clearing and consolidation. By combining massive unmanned breaching vehicles with smaller armed ground robots designed to create confusion behind Russian lines, Ukrainian forces break fortified positions, generate chaos, and then move assault troops against an enemy already shaken before direct combat even begins. Together, these tactics demonstrate how the Third Army Corps is reimagining drone warfare during Operation Vivaldi and is adapting different machines to specific battlefield problems.

Ukraine’s 3rd Army Corps has upended the battlefield on the Lyman front with Operation Vivaldi—a methodical, four-phase offensive that uses groundbreaking robotic airborne assaults, converted kamikaze armoured vehicles, and strategic deception to shatter Russian positions in northern Donetsk.

With three "seasons" completed, Russian forces have suffered thousands of casualties, lost key strongholds like Nove and Shandryholove, and seen their northern pincer movement against Kramatorsk and Slovyansk severely disrupted. But as Commander Andrii Biletskyi signalled, Vivaldi plays on—and Phase 4 is right around the corner.

In this video, Chuck Pfarrer breaks down how Ukraine executed one of the most innovative combined-arms operations of the war—and map out where Ukrainian forces are likely to strike next.

LiveNOW’s Austin Westfall is speaking with Prof. Alon Burstein from the @Israel-Palestine-Report after President Donald Trump's speech at the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday. During his remarks, Trump told world leaders that Iran is no longer the "bully of the Middle East" and that he has a "big decision" to make in regard to the war with Iran. We are learning more as ongoing conflict in the Middle East appears to be taking center stage at the UN General Assembly in New York City.

286. Frozen Night in Kensington: Where Warmth is a Luxury for the Homeless - Homeless in America

Kensington, Philadelphia, has become one of the most painful symbols of the homeless in America. Tents on sidewalks, people sleeping in doorways, and lives torn apart by addiction show how severe the homeless crisis has become.

In this documentary, we follow people living on the edge of survival in the middle of a growing fentanyl crisis. Fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opioid, has spread through Kensington like a fire, fueling overdoses, violence, and fear. Every corner carries a story: a lost job, a medical bill, a broken family, and a system that failed to catch people before they hit the streets.

Through raw, honest voices from Kensington’s broken streets, this film shows what homelessness really looks like in America today – not as statistics, but as human beings fighting cold nights, hunger, trauma, and stigma. It asks a simple but urgent question: how many more lives have to disappear before we truly confront the homeless crisis and fentanyl crisis in America?

If this documentary opened your eyes to what is happening in Kensington and beyond, please consider liking, sharing, and leaving a comment. Every view and every share helps these stories be seen and heard.

I examine Ukraine’s reported first combat use of the FP-7 tactical ballistic missile amid a major overnight drone and missile campaign against targets across Russia. With a reported range of up to 300 kilometers and a payload of up to 200 kilograms, the FP-7 could put Russia’s dense near-border logistics network, ammunition sites, airfields, and glide-bomb infrastructure at greater risk—if Ukraine can sustain serial production and employ it effectively.

I also break down reported strikes on the Samara oil-pumping and petrochemical complex, the Lukoil Volgograd refinery, and facilities in Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar, and elsewhere. On the defensive side, I assess Russia’s 108-drone attack on Ukraine, F-16 cannon intercepts, and Ukraine’s efforts to scale interceptor drones. Finally, I look at September’s battlefield figures: Russia reportedly seized 175 square kilometers but lost 256, while suffering 46,230 reported casualties.

190. Texas in Ruins: Homeless Lives Lost to Drugs – Documentary

Homeless in America has become more than a social issue — it’s a mirror reflecting the broken promises of a nation once built on dreams. In this Texas Homeless Documentary, we travel deep into the heart of the Lone Star State to uncover the truth behind the growing homelessness in America. What was once a land of opportunity is now home to shattered lives, forgotten souls, and endless struggle. Beneath the wide Texas skies, countless people face nights of fear, hunger, and despair, trapped in a system that seems to have abandoned them.

This film reveals the raw reality of homeless in Texas — from crowded tent camps under highway bridges to desolate rural towns where hope fades like the sunset. Life in Texas is often portrayed as free and prosperous, but for thousands, it’s a daily fight for survival. Through real stories and intimate moments, the documentary exposes how addiction, rising housing costs, and mental health crises intertwine, creating a perfect storm that leaves many without shelter or support.

Homeless in America is not just a tragedy of poverty, but a crisis of humanity. Texas becomes a powerful symbol of that contradiction — a state of immense wealth and endless land, yet unable to house its own people. The Texas homeless documentary challenges viewers to look beyond stereotypes and confront the uncomfortable truth: homelessness in America is not a distant problem, it’s a national failure.

Every scene, every voice reminds us that these are not just statistics, but people — mothers, veterans, workers — all seeking dignity and a place to belong. Homeless in America calls for empathy, awareness, and action. The question remains: how many more must fall before we decide to rise together?
