Thank You for Standing With Ukraine
https://ukrainesupportbridge.com/

The fallout from Donald Trump's statements about President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian energy sanctions is growing—and the backlash is coming from Ukraine, Europe, and inside the United States itself. While Trump faces sharp criticism for his approach to Putin, Ukraine continues striking Russian targets, and American lawmakers are preparing a bipartisan challenge.

Ukraine reportedly struck a strategically important railway drawbridge in Rostov-on-Don, while drone attacks were underway near Sochi. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha defended Zelenskyy's legitimacy and the Ukrainian people's right to choose their own president. Meanwhile, Elon Musk publicly declared that Zelenskyy had "gone too far" following criticism of Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil infrastructure.

But the response in Washington is far from unified. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick publicly reaffirmed support for Zelenskyy and announced plans for the bipartisan Ronald Reagan Peace Through Strength Act to block purchases of Russian oil. He intends to use a discharge petition to bring the legislation toward a House vote, potentially bypassing Speaker Mike Johnson. Keith Kellogg defended Ukraine's strikes against Russian refineries, while former Vice President Mike Pence sharply criticized Trump's decision to ease Russian energy sanctions.

Across Europe, leaders are calling for greater military assistance and continued economic pressure on Moscow. EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas warned against easing sanctions and outlined plans for additional measures targeting Russia's war machine. Meanwhile, Kremlin-linked official Kirill Dmitriev echoed calls for new Ukrainian leadership. In this urgent update, Greg Terry examines the growing international backlash, the congressional response, and the consequences for Ukraine as the confrontation over Russian oil, American policy, and Ukrainian sovereignty intensifies.

How were the scientists who criticized Fauci’s COVID mandates unfairly vilified in a way to keep them silent?

On today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words,” Victor Davis Hanson and Jack Fowler discuss certain scientists’ early warnings about school closures, lockdowns, vaccine mandates, and the broader costs of the COVID response, while explaining how Fauci suppressed dissent and concealed his involvement in COVID-related gain-of-function research in China.

The episode also dives into to Israel’s war against Hamas and the aftermath of October 7, covering Israel’s military response and how Hamas deliberately embeds its forces among civilians.

They also discuss Democrat politicians attempting to rebrand themselves, the rise of socialism and anti-capitalist rhetoric, homelessness and crime in blue states, and the growing divide between elite progressive ideals and the realities facing ordinary Americans.

So Ukraine has now visually confirmed more than 100,000 Russian soldiers killed or wounded by the Unmanned Systems Forces over the past year. That’s wild but even crazier is that Ukraine is on track to triple that over the next 12 months. And if that comes to fruition it’s hard to see Russia continuing. I mean they have a lot of manpower but 300k+ losses a year is a tough pill to swallow for any country, but that’s where we are right now.

I examine reports that Russian Major General Anton Grunas, commander of the 4th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade, was killed in occupied Donetsk Oblast on September 12. Grunas had personally briefed Vladimir Putin on Russia’s claimed capture of Konstantinovka and received the Gold Star Hero of Russia less than three weeks before his reported death. Yet available battlefield maps do not support a full Russian capture of the city. I assess what this episode says about propaganda, command vulnerability, and Ukraine’s unmanned systems forces.

I also cover Ukraine’s reported strike on an Su-24 at Saki airfield in occupied Crimea, the reported shutdown of the Kirishi refinery and reduced output at other major diesel facilities, and damage to a warehouse beside Taganrog’s Atlant Aero drone producer. On the ground, I review Operation Vivaldi north of Lyman, where Ukraine’s Third Army Corps reports clearing 75 square kilometers and pressuring a Russian salient.

05:23 Drone Strikes on Russian Diesel Refineries

I examine Russia’s fuel shortages, collapsing Black Sea oil and wheat exports, grain glut, farm-bankruptcy risk, sanctions pressure on Aeroflot, and rising military spending.
