I examine the extraordinary night of October 14, 2026, when Ukrainian drones reportedly surged toward Moscow and Russian infrastructure while Russia launched 39 ballistic missiles and more than 120 attack drones and loitering munitions against Kyiv. Moscow’s mayor said nearly 500 drones were headed toward the capital; reported targets included an oil depot in Belgorod, the Novoshakhtinsk refinery, and Sberbank’s Balakovo data center.

The more consequential failure came over Kyiv. Ukrainian officials said they received no allied warning before the first ballistic-missile wave, though alerts reportedly arrived for later waves. With 35 of 39 missiles getting through, strikes damaged power and oil-and-gas facilities, caused blackouts and water disruptions, and underscored Ukraine’s interceptor shortage. I also assess reports that Starshield terminals lost connectivity above 160 km/h, disrupting Ukrainian missions, while separating confirmed restrictions from speculation about their cause. The strategic issue is whether degraded warning, air defense, and connectivity are creating exploitable gaps for Russia.

Thank You for Standing With Ukraine

Donald Trump announced an immediate energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, claiming both sides had already agreed. But President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Ukraine was unaware of any such agreement, while a Russian State Duma energy official also says he knows nothing about it. So what exactly did Trump announce—and where is the agreement?

In this urgent October 11 update, Greg Terry examines Trump's declaration, Zelenskyy's response, and reports of continuing Russian drone strikes and air alerts across Ukraine. Zelenskyy makes clear that Ukraine is prepared to reciprocate if Russia stops attacking Ukrainian energy infrastructure. But supporting a proposed ceasefire is not the same as confirming an agreement already exists.

Zelenskyy also responds directly to pressure from Trump and Elon Musk, challenges demands for Ukrainian elections during wartime, and says a 60-day total ceasefire would allow Ukraine to organize a vote. He argues that it is easier for critics to pressure Ukraine than to stop Vladimir Putin. Greg examines the timing of Trump's statement, the continuing attacks, and the sharp contradiction between a proclaimed ceasefire and the responses from Kyiv and Moscow.

The central question is accountability: Can Washington announce peace without a verified agreement from the countries actually fighting the war? Greg separates the reported statements from his analysis as this breaking story unfolds.

In this episode of The President's Daily Brief:

- First up—the fighting may be paused, but inside Iran the regime is tightening its grip. Thousands have been detained in recent weeks, and in a disturbing escalation, authorities are now targeting the graves of protestors in an apparent effort to erase their memory.

- Later in the show—the UAE announces it has dismantled an Iran-linked terror cell accused of plotting coordinated sabotage attacks, raising new concerns about Tehran’s reach across the region.

- Plus—new warnings from European intelligence officials that China’s cyber-espionage capabilities are now on par with the United States, with Beijing increasingly targeting Western defense companies for sensitive military technology.

- And in today’s Back of the Brief—Israel moves to contain fallout after reports that soldiers desecrated a Christian symbol in Lebanon, sparking outrage and raising questions about discipline within the ranks.

@DailyHomelessNewss clearly has a awful person behind the channel making content. STAY AWAY FROM THEIR CHANNEL!!!!They continue to post dehumanizing images and thumbnails about homeless people just to get clicks and views. They are complete hypocrites who clearly don’t care enough to do the right thing. I don’t recommend subscribing to that channel and honestly they should be CANCELLED and banned from YouTube. Dehumanizing people and putting awful images up isn’t okay regardless of who you are doing it to and it should not be tolerated or acceptable behavior.

I can’t believe they really thought i would stick around when they continue to do the very awful thing they said they would stop doing because it’s wrong. Foolish.

178. Nevada’s Homeless: The Brutal Truth — It’s Worse Than You Think.

Behind the neon glow of Las Vegas lies a harsher reality thousands can’t escape. This documentary takes you from storm drains and tent encampments to overcrowded shelters and scorching desert heat, revealing why homelessness in Nevada keeps climbing—and why quick fixes keep failing.

In candid interviews, unhoused Nevadans share how medical debt, rent hikes, addiction, job loss, and domestic violence pushed them to the brink. Outreach workers, paramedics, and policy experts explain the pressure on services, the impact of “sweeps,” and the deadly mix of extreme weather and limited affordable housing. We also fact-check common myths, show what actually helps (and what wastes money), and spotlight local groups making a real difference.

265 - Miami Homeless Crisis 2026: Luxury Beaches Hide a Growing Homeless Crisis | Homeless in America

Miami - famous for its luxury beaches, vibrant nightlife, and booming tourism - is also confronting a growing homelessness crisis hidden behind its postcard image. The Miami homeless crisis 2026 continues to intensify as addiction spreads through beach tent camps, exposing a side of the city that many visitors never see.

In this episode of US HOMELESS STORIES, we investigate the Miami homeless crisis 2026 to explore how addiction is taking over the city's beach tent camps. As housing costs continue to rise and affordable homes become increasingly out of reach, more people are forced into homelessness, surviving in tents, parks, and makeshift shelters while struggling with addiction, poverty, and uncertain futures.

This documentary reveals the harsh reality of homeless in Miami, where many people live in beach encampments, wooded camps, vehicles, and temporary shelters while facing addiction, untreated illness, financial hardship, and daily survival. The Miami homeless crisis 2026 continues to grow as homelessness and substance abuse reshape parts of one of America's most recognizable coastal cities.

Through raw street footage and real human stories, we uncover how addiction and homelessness are changing Miami beyond its world-famous beaches. This is a closer look at the Miami homeless crisis 2026 - where rising housing costs, beach tent camps, and addiction are creating one of Florida's most challenging humanitarian issues.

📍 Question For You :
Do you think addiction or the rising cost of housing is the biggest factor behind Miami's growing beach tent camps?
