In this episode of The President’s Daily Brief:

- New reporting reveals that while publicly observing a cease-fire, Iran was secretly preparing for a much wider regional war through its proxy network. We’ll examine Tehran’s alleged plans to strike U.S. bases, Gulf energy infrastructure, and key global shipping routes if the conflict escalated.

- President Trump announces he has called off another round of planned strikes on Iran, saying the outlines of a potential agreement have emerged that could help avert a broader war.

- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warns that his country has run out of critical air-defense interceptors as Russian ballistic missile attacks continue to pound Kyiv.

- In today’s Back of the Brief—a deadly bombing outside a Moscow restaurant kills at least three people and injures more than 20 others in what Russian authorities are calling a terrorist attack.

Why Ukraine’s Fedorov Protests Matter for the War’s Front Line
Ukraine’s Defense Reform Crisis and the Fight to Halt Russia’s Advance
Can Ukraine Make Every Russian Advance Too Costly to Sustain?
Fedorov’s Removal, Front-Line Logistics, and Ukraine’s War Strategy

I examine Ukraine’s effort to slow Russia’s advance through corps reform, drone-enabled logistics, recruitment, attrition strategy, and deep strikes on Russian oil refineries. I also assess the protests following Mikhail Fedorov’s dismissal and what front-line supply failures reveal about Ukraine’s military challenges.
