In this episode of The PDB Afternoon Bulletin:

- Artificial intelligence is transforming far more than chatbots and consumer technology. Mike Baker examines how AI is reshaping modern warfare, intelligence collection, and military decision-making.

- We explore how autonomous drones, battlefield targeting, cyber operations, and intelligence analysis are already being enhanced by artificial intelligence—and why the next arms race may be fought with algorithms as much as weapons.

- Finally, we assess which countries are leading the race for military AI, the risks of autonomous warfare, and why this technological revolution is already changing the global balance of power.

A startling new poll finds that more than four in 10 voters ages 18 to 24 hold a positive view of Sharia law—a result Victor Davis Hanson sees as part of a much deeper failure in American education and civic knowledge.

From rising antisemitism and the political attitudes of younger Americans to shifting momentum in California and the 2026 midterms, the country is entering a period of growing cultural and political uncertainty.

Victor Davis Hanson and Jack Fowler also examine the controversial Cornell case, separating questions of criminal liability from the moral collapse surrounding campus hookup culture and the political forces now surrounding the case.

TRUMP WANTS AN APOLOGY FROM THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC. They need to apologize for hitting ships, declare the Strait of Hormuz Open, and talk about the nuclear issue immediately. The fragile interim truce has officially shattered as President Donald Trump declares the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding dead, ordering massive, multi-wave airstrikes that have left Iran's southern coast systematically smashed. Speaking with visible fury from the NATO summit, Trump slammed Tehran's leadership as "lying scum" and warned of total economic destruction if maritime hostility continues. Tonight, A2 Analysis breaks down the destruction of over 90 coastal targets—including severe damage to the Chabahar port facilities and the Bushehr perimeter—and maps out the rapid mobilization toward a wider regional war. Join the live broadcast for a definitive tactical assessment of CENTCOM's unfolding air campaign, the immediate Iranian missile retaliation against Gulf bases, and the critical maneuvers on the water.
