I will show you AMAZING context today.
First, I examine Ukraine’s reported September 26 strike on the Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant in Russia’s Rostov region, a facility reportedly linked to components for at least seven Russian missile programs and described as the sole supplier of two essential Kh-101 components. The confirmed strike’s real damage and effect on missile output remain unverified, but it raises a consequential question: can targeted attacks create production bottlenecks in Russia’s long-range strike arsenal? I also assess claims that 14 Russian refineries are offline, nine are operating at reduced capacity, and 97 refinery strikes have occurred this year.
I then turn to Russia’s 170-drone attack, Ukraine’s reported decline in drone interception rates from 86–90% earlier in the year to roughly 70%, and the challenge posed by jet-powered Geran drones.
