اثری ماندگار از عارف قزوینی، شاعر و موسیقیدان است که برای نخستینبار در سالهای پرآشوب پس از انقلاب مشروطه اجرا شد.
سرودی در ستایش شجاعت و اندوه از دستدادن فرزندان این سرزمین، که خونشان در راه آزادی بر خاک وطن نشست.
این تصنیف با صدای نسلهای گوناگون بازخوانی شد و هر بار، زخمی تازه از تاریخ بر دل داشت.
پرستو احمدی، نخستین بار در آبان ۹۸، در میان فضای اندوه و خشم آن روزها، بازسرایی تازهای از این قطعه آفرید؛ بازخوانی او، نه تنها یادآور گذشته، که پژواک خون جوانان آبان ۹۸ بود؛ پیوندی میان گذشته و اکنون، میان آواز و اعتراض.

“Az Khoon-e Javanān” (From the Blood of the Youth) is an enduring work by Aref Qazvini, the poet and composer, first performed during the turbulent years following the Constitutional Revolution of Iran between 1905 and 1911.

This song has been reinterpreted by many generations, each time bearing a new wound from the nation’s history.
In November 2019, Parastoo Ahmadi created a new rendition of this piece amid the sorrow and anger of those days.
Her performance not only evoked the memory of the past, but also echoed the blood of the young lives lost in November 2019 in Iran — a bridge between past and present, between song and protest.
