Five days before the midterms, the Justice Department has issued a new wave of grand jury subpoenas in its criminal probe of how “Decoy Dan” Dan J. Sullivan landed on Alaska's Senate ballot, after a New York Times report that Democratic operatives sought to recruit candidates who share the incumbent's name. The Times also reports that federal agents investigated Rep. Ilhan Omar's marriage during the Obama administration, reportedly found evidence of fraud, and never brought charges. Early voting is past 31 million ballots, the Twin Cities saw another round of fraud-related search warrants, and El Salvador is sending about 1,000 troops to Haiti.
