«نام جاوید وطن» از آثار شاخص موسیقی میهنی ایران است که با نام‌های «ایران جوان» و «وطنم» نیز شناخته می‌شود.
این اثر با شعری از زنده‌یاد بیژن ترقی و بر ملودی‌ای منسوب به موسیو لومر، موسیقی‌دان فرانسویِ فعال در دوره‌ی قاجار، شکل گرفته است؛ شخصیتی که نقشی مهم در ورود موسیقی کلاسیک غربی و بنیان‌گذاری موسیقی رسمی نوین در ایران ایفا کرد.

اجرای حاضر، بازخوانی و بازسازی این اثر تاریخی با رویکردی معاصر و تنظیمی مدرن است؛ تلاشی برای حفظ هویت اثر و در عین حال بازتعریف آن برای مخاطب امروز.«یار دبستانی من» یکی از ماندگارترین ترانه‌های اعتراضی و خاطره‌انگیز ایران است؛ اثری که به نماد همبستگی، دوستی و مقاومت نسل‌ها در برابر استبداد و بی‌عدالتی تبدیل شده است. این ترانه فراتر از یک آهنگ، صدای جمعیِ خاطره، اعتراض و امید در تاریخ معاصر ایران است.“Nāme Jāvid-e Vatan” is a distinguished work of Iranian patriotic music, also known under the titles “Iran-e Javan” and “Vatanam.”
The piece is formed around lyrics by the late Bijan Taraqī, a prominent Iranian poet and lyricist, set to a melody attributed to Alfred Jean‑Baptiste Lemaire, a French musician active during the Qajar era—an influential figure in the introduction of Western classical music and the foundation of modern institutional music in Iran.

The present performance is a contemporary reinterpretation and reconstruction of this historical work, featuring a modern arrangement that seeks to preserve the original identity of the piece while re-articulating it for today’s audience.
